First Selectman Hogan continues her Town Hall Chats which are held on the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the East Lyme Town Hall. The next Chat will be held on Oct. 20. The Chats provide residents with an opportunity to share their ideas and stay informed on current town issues and events with Hogan and several of the town's staff and volunteers. Refreshments will be served as well.
The League of Women Voters will be sponsoring a candidates' forum featuring a debate between Beth Hogan, Democrat, and Paul Formica, the candidate running for first selectman on the Republican ticket. It will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at East Lyme High School.
In her bid for re-election, Hogan has launched a website, which was designed by the Brown Bear Creative firm. The website accessed at www.bethhogan.com provides up-to-date information about Hogan's 2007 campaign including new items, current issues, dates of campaign events, and other opportunities to meet Beth.
